It’s True – Due to change of ownership and enormous re-modeling plans ($14 -15 million), and re-branding of the hotel from a Holiday Inn to a Doubletree – The Yacht Club of Bethesda and “Tommy the Matchmaker” will end their extraordinary 17 year run the weekend of January the 13th and 14th. Our location within the hotel will become part of the expanded garage parking and much wider new exit to the street. Certainly many of you have a lot of memories over 17 years as not too many dance clubs last as long, none ever in this area for people over 30.
